SUMMARY:Spring Spectacular by Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge
DESCRIPTION:Join the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge for a day of nature\, creativity\, and community at the Spring Spectacular\, taking place on May 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. \nImmerse yourself in the refuge as you observe a diverse array of wildlife\, participate in fun crafts and educational activities\, and connect with various community organizations dedicated to conservation\, artistic expression\, and cultural enrichment. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast\, an art lover\, or simply looking for a fun-filled day with family and friends\, the Spring Spectacular promises something for everyone to enjoy. While you’re here you can also enjoy what the rest of the wildlife refuge has to offer as well as visit the neighboring Oak Orchard and Tonawanda Wildlife Management Areas and appreciate the importance of the whole landscape coming together to provide vital habitat for wildlife that live and pass through Western New York. This event is being held thanks to The Friends of Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge\, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service\, and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. \nLocation: 1101 Casey Road\, Basom\, NY 14013\nActivity and Accessibility: This program is held outdoors and partially indoors. Accessible parking available\, restrooms and water fountains are located in the visitor center. Activities are family-friendly and will involve walking station to station.
