Scajaquada Watershed Event – East Side Youth Bike Rodeos & Mobile Repair July 10

GObike Buffalo is hosting the East Side Youth Bike Rodeos. These are free, family-friendly events where children can learn basic bike riding safety skills in a safe and supportive environment.

The dates are:

• Wednesday, July 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Gleasner Park (137 Manhattan Ave.)
• Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Norfolk Ave Block Club (305 Norfolk Ave)

Children (accompanied by a parent or guardian) of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. We encourage youth to bring their own bike and helmet. However, it is not required to have a bike and attend. Youth participants that are registered through this online form who do not have a bike or helmet will receive a free bike, helmet, and lock – while supplies last.

The event is being hosted by GObike Buffalo as part of the Clean Mobility Buffalo initiative, with additional support from East Buffalo Development Corp., Buffalo Community Connectors, East Side Bike Club, STEM Cycling Youth Participants, and Norfolk Ave Block Club #1.
