Spring Sweep is our largest event of the year and part of the annual Great Lakes CleanUP, where we are joined by volunteers across the Great Lakes region in removing litter from our shorelines and protecting our waterways.
Scajaquada September
Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper dedicates the month of September to recognize the history and promote the vision of restoration for Scajaquada Creek.

Join us on May 21st for an incredible evening at the glorious Buffalo AKG Art Museum in the heart of the Scajaquada Creek corridor to celebrate 35 years of protecting and restoring our water and surrounding ecosystems.
We are pleased to announce our Honorary Event Chair, NYS Senator Timothy M. Kennedy. In addition to small plates, drinks, awards, and auctions, we will present Lifetime Achievement Recognition to organization co-founder and former U.S. Rep. Brian Higgins. Our Emerald Evening will be hosted by 7 News Anchor Jeff Russo.
