As a member of the community, you are our best ally to be a champion for our waterways. Don’t let pollution go unnoticed. If you see something, say something. Learn how to report possible pollution incidents.
We will not share your name or contact information without your permission. 
Report a Spill (Oil)
  • Report petroleum or chemical spills to the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Spill Hotline at 1-800-457-7362.
  • Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper also appreciates community member reports of spills so that we can follow-up with agencies and stay informed. Contact Liz Cute at ecute@bnwaterkeeper.org or 716-852-7483 x 32.
