As a member of the community, you are our best ally to be a champion for our waterways. Don’t let pollution go unnoticed. If you see something, say something. Learn how to report possible pollution incidents.

Report a Spill (Oil)
  • Report petroleum or chemical spills to the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Spill Hotline at 1-800-457-7362.
  • Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper also appreciates community member reports of spills so that we can follow-up with agencies and stay informed. Contact Liz Cute at ecute@bnwaterkeeper.org or 716-852-7483 x 23.
