Forest Lawn Rocksock Planting Sept. 2026

We need volunteers for a Sept. 9 RestoreCorps event. From 10 a.m. to noon volunteers will install approximately 115 rocksocks along Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper’s wetland restoration project site within Forest Lawn Cemetery. Rocksocks are biodegradable burlap bags filled with a special planting substrate and planted with wetland plant species.
