During Tuesdays in September there will be discussions about the Scajaquada Creek Corridor, hosted by Black Rock Riverside Alliance, The Scajaquada Corridor Coalition and Black Rock Historical Society.
The speaker series will highlight the creek’s history, it’s environmental importance to the region, economic development and turning the vision into reality. View full details of the series here.

Register HereThe Sept. 10 session is called Environmental Importance of the Creek. The first part is about the environmental impact of the creek, focusing on migratory birds, RAMSAR designation, fisheries, navigable recreation and eco-tourism. This will be led by Connie Adams and Erin Redding from the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC).
The second part of the session is about environmental improvements and planning, led by Sandra Smith with Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper.
