With the numerous and growing challenges to environmental protections over the last year, Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper has elevated our advocacy efforts more and more to fight for water protection laws and policies on the local, state and federal levels.
Our team is meeting regularly with elected officials at all levels to ensure they are fighting to protect our water and environment, as well as conducting grassroots campaigns to organize our community to do the same. These lobbying and advocating efforts take a great deal of financial resources, and these efforts.
It is only through unrestricted gifts from our donors that we are able to continue to advocate for local, state, and federal water protections. Little Beaver Island Planting

Expanded Blueway Sites
