The Buffalo River restoration effort includes treatment of the invasive plant knotweed that does not provide food for local wildlife. To replace the knotweed that was treated and is not covering the ground with dead leaves and stems, we need volunteers to expose the soil so we can then place native seed mix on those bare patches. This task will consist of raking knotweed stems and leaves in densely covered areas and removing trash in dense areas.
