Kickoff with Resurgence at Canalside

Noon – 5 p.m.

Join Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper, Resurgence Brewing Company, and Canalside for a family friendly day along the water including games, inflatables, balloon artists, face painting, and more.

Pride Solo Sweep

Sunday, June 7

Volunteer with us by doing a Solo Sweep to clean the street after the Buffalo Pride Parade. Record it on the Clean Swell app with “BNW Pride” with your team name in the Group Name field and be entered to win a prize from BNW!

Buffalo Niagara Blueway Unveiling

Monday, June 9

Follow along on Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper’s social media pages and select news outlets to learn how to enjoy the Buffalo Niagara Blueway this water season. Pay close attention to the social media posts throughout the day, there will be a pop-quiz that evening with a chance to win a prize!

Waterfall Hike

Head out to the headwaters for a hike to Emery Falls, one of the many amazing waterfalls in our region, and also a stop on the Outside Chronicles Waterfall Challenge.

Lake Erie Shoreline Cleanup

Thursday, June 11

4 – 5:30 p.m.

Clean up with Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper and our friends from Great Lakes Great Responsibility along the shores of Lake Erie. Join us at Gallagher Beach to remove litter from the shorelines and prevent it from enter our Great Lakes.

Buffalo River Happy Hour

5 – 7 p.m.

Come enjoy a happy hour by the Buffalo River. Find Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper and our trivia wheel at Duende. Chat all things Buffalo River and beyond as well as score some cool prizes and drink specials.

Blueway Bike Tour

Friday, June 12

5:30 – 8 p.m.

Tour the Buffalo Blueway by bike with Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper and our friends at GObike Buffalo and REDDY Bike! We will make stops along some Buffalo Blueway sites and get the chance to hear from each organization about work being done in this area.

Solo Sweep Saturday

Waterkeeper at the Ballpark

Sunday, June 14

1:05  p.m.

Catch Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper at the Sahlen Field and spend the afternoon rooting for the Bisons. Keep an eye on the field for a special appearance from our mascot, Eddy! Eddy will be hanging with the Bisons mascot crew for meet-and-greets and the mascot race. A portion of each ticket sold through this link will be donated to Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper.
