Erie County will unveil a draft of its Community Climate Action Plan during an open house at D’Youville University. It’s inviting the public and families to attend to view the proposal, as well as participate in activities for children and enjoy some snacks.
The open house is Saturday, March 18, with three different presentation between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. It will be a the D’Youville Academic Center. Presentations of the draft will be at 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Along with the draft plan, there is a showcase of Climate-Impact artwork by students from across Western New York. The county will have snacks, activities for children, climate reflection stations and a youth art showcase in the family friendly gathering.
This is presented by WNY Sustainable Business Roundtable and the Erie County Department of Environment and Planning.
