This documentary showcases the relentless efforts of scientists in both the United States and Canada to uncover and mitigate the cause of a devastating environmental crisis— vanishing populations of the most prized fish in the Great Lakes. Produced by SkyhoundMedia, The Fish Thief: A Great Lakes Mystery delves into the battle to protect the Great Lakes from invasive species. Narrated by Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons, the film brings together breathtaking visuals and expert insights to reveal the ecological stakes of preserving the world’s largest freshwater ecosystem.
