The Paddles Up Niagara family friendly event is back again for its 17th year. Hosted at Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island, it is meant to be a safe way to experience the natural areas along the Niagara River.
Guides and safety paddlers will be on hand to assist and answer your paddling questions. Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper will have some staff safety paddlers and YELP students participating during the day. There are a variety of events planned during the day, click the button below to learn more.
Participants should meet at Shelter 2B and they will then launch from the far end of the beach. All paddlers MUST wear a zipped up, coast guard approved personal flotation device. People who refuse will not be allowed to paddle with the group.
