Plant-O-Rama in Youngstown

The Plant-O-Rama is a celebration of Western New York’s growing season and it will take place June 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Youngstown. This is free to all. Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper will have a volunteer ambassador on hand to talk about our mission.

Following up on the success of last year’s Plant-O-Rama, the Youngstown Garden Club is doing it again this year with a few enhancements. The plant sale will feature a new native perennial section. Bob & Andrea will play live music throughout the day. Nan Hoffman and Joe Tumino will play  music inspired by nature for children and families at noon.

The Youngstown Marketside will be there selling a variety of breakfast and lunch goodies and there will be a wide range of local environmental organizations with displays and activities.
