Virtual Meeting About Buffalo Creek Floodplain Reconnection

Learn more about plans to re-establish a floodplain along the Buffalo Creek by viewing a virtual meeting on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. Attend this virtual meeting to see the final design concepts that, if implemented, would reduce water levels and residential flooding.

The Town of West Seneca has a long history of flooding damage along the banks of Buffalo Creek. To address re-occurring flooding, Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper and the Town of West Seneca are continuing studies and advancing design plans for a  Nature-Based flood mitigation project along Buffalo Creek.
