If you missed our Lunch and Learn virtual sessions during Scajaquada September, you can rewatch them below.

Lunch and Learn #1

We hosted our first virtual Lunch and Learn on Aug. 31 with Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper Executive Director Jill Jedlicka to give an inside scoop on all things Scajaquada and all that’s to come this Scajaquada September. For those who missed it, click below to watch the video, and stick around for the Q&A session at the end.

Lunch and Learn #2

This Zoom meeting was held Sept. 12 and gave a better understanding of all that we have planned in restoring Scajaquada Creek for this year and the years to come.

Lunch and Learn #3

During this webinar, we were joined by members of three local organizations that have a connection to Scajaquada Creek. This included:
The Black Rock Riverside Alliance

Grassroots Gardens WNY

BeWell (Buffalo Women of Environmental Learning & Leadership)

Learn more about these organizations by watching the video.

Lunch and Learn #4

Did you know Scajaquada Creek is 13 miles long and begins in Lancaster? Did you know there are sections of it buried, including under the Walden Galleria Mall? To showcase what we and others are trying to restore, we have drone footage that starts at the headwaters of the creek and continues right to the mouth at Niagara River. Here we’ll showcase drone footage and talk about what is being viewed along the way.
