August is Water Quality Month – Celebrate with a Good Book!

August is a perfect time to reflect on the critical role clean water plays in our lives. To mark the occasion, Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper has curated a reading list filled with powerful stories and local voices that highlight our connection to water. Check them out here!

Our local partners in this campaign, Talking Leaves, Westside Stories, Buffalo & Erie County Central Library, Niagara Falls Public Library and Gowanda Free Library all have displays with some of the selections. As you dive into these books, we invite you to take action.  Your donation directly supports our work to protect and restore the waterways that sustain our communities, our health, and our future. Your gift, no matter the size, makes a splash and every drop counts. Let’s all work together to ensure clean, healthy waterways for our communities today and for generations to come.
